Here's What's Happening at Triune

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
SPONSORED BY the WOMEN'S GROUP

Help make Christmas a little brighter by
filling a shoe box full of goodies!

Get a shoe box and fill it for either a boy or girl. Ages are as follows: 2-4, 5-9, or 10-14.

Fill with gifts and include $7 to help cover the cost of shipping and other costs involved.

Place a rubber band around the covered box. Cover both the lid and bottom separate, with christmas wrapping.

Bring to Triune Lutheran Church, 4810 West Mill Rd. Broadview Height, by November 23rd.

Gift suggestions:
school supplies: pens, pencils and sharpener, crayons, etc.

Toys: small cars, balls, dolls, stuffed animals, harmonicas, yo-yos, jump ropes, toys that light up or make noise (with extra batteries) etc.

Hygiene Items: toothbrush, toothpaste, mild bar soap (in plastic bag) comb, washcloth, etc

Other: hard candy and lollipops, mints, gum (please place all candy in ziploc bag) t-shirs, socks, ball caps, sunglasses, hair clips, toy jewelry, flashlights, (with e-tra batteries) etc.

Personal Note: you may enclose a note to the child and a phot of yourself or your family. (if you include your name and address, the child may write back).

Do not include: used or damaged itesm; war-related items such as toy guns, knives or military figures; chocolate or food; out of date candy; liquids or lotions, medications or vitamins; breakable items.

We are still collecting ALL aluminun.

Please bring it to the CHURCH!

The mitten tree is up and waiting to be filled. Please help to make this tree shine with our love by stocking it with many of the items listed: mittens, scarves, hats and underwear. The tree will be emptied twice during the season and given to Immanuel Lutheran church, where they will be distributed to those who will be without this winter.

Bring your children, your grand children, neighbor children, and friend’s children either to Kids Corner or Sunday School.  Our goal is to expand our attendance this year while learning of God’s Love.

Kid's Corner is Saturday evening at 5 pm during our Comtemporary Praise Worship Service and Sunday School is Sunday mornings at 9:15 am.

Worship Time:

Contemporary Praise Worship - 5:00 p.m.
Sunday Traditional Worship - 10:30 a.m.
Sunday School - Adults, 9 am - Children, 9:15 am
